Gulf Annual Ryegrass is typically planted in the Fall but can also be planted in early Spring. Plant 25-30#acre. Popular for ease of establishment, does well broadcast. For winter-early summer grazing, hay and erosion control. We do not recommend for wildlife as it could become a weed. For yard overseeding in the Fall we sell a turf-type ryegrass which is darker green and shorter growing.
