An annual cool season grass. Mainly used for over seeding pasture, hay fields, lawns, athletic fields, and wildlife plots. High nutritive quality. Ryegrass offers easy over seeding to get a good stand very quick. Green and growing during cool weather, production slows in June, however, it may maintain its stand during summer with adequate moisture.
